About Me

I am a sociologist working on various issues related to social class, especially around culture and politics. In my job as a professor at the University of Oslo, I teach classes on class stratification and sociological theory.

I co-organise the Classes and Elites Research Seminar and am a member of The European Center for the Study of Culture & Inequality. I serve as an associate editor of European Societies, on the thematic editorial board of the Norwegian Journal of Sociology and the editorial board of American Sociological Review.
